NSR Ti-5 provides high fatigue strength, toughness, ductility and can be heat treated to get higher strength or toughness. The filler metal composition is usually matched to the grade of titanium being welded, such as aircraft and competition motorsports applications include airframes and chassis structures, turbine engine parts, exhaust systems and ducting, discs, wheels and spacer rings. Other industrial applications include pressure vessels, chemical processing equipment, piping systems and compressor blades. Materials to be welded include :
