PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Copper coated welding rod alloyed with Cr and Mo, for welding creep resisting steels subjected to service at elevated temperature up to 550 ºC.

WELDING FEATURES OF THE ELECTRODE

It provides good weldability with better fusion in root pass welding of pipes, excellent arc stability and low spatters.

APPLICATIONS AND MATERIALS TO BE WELDED

Typical applications include heat exchangers, piping and pressure vessels in chemical and petrochemical industry. PLATES TO : BS1501: Part 2 Grades 620 and 621 ASTM A387 (pressure vessels) Grades 11 and 12. FORGINGS TO : BS 1503 Grade 620 and 621 CASTINGS TO : BS 1504 Grade 620 and BS3100 Grade B2.
