PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Manufactured on a high purity nickel core wire with a metallurgically balanced basic flux coating that also contains pure molydenium for alloying purposes plus alloys for grain refinement. The silicate binders used for extrusion ensure both coating strength and resistance to moisture absorption

WELDING FEATURES OF THE ELECTRODE

Designed for use on DC+ only. The stable arc is readily controllable and the slag viscosity allows the smaller diameter to be used positionally. The weld beads are bright and evenly rippled with fillet welds having a slight convex profile. Metal recovery is some 130% with respect to core wire weight

APPLICATIONS AND MATERIALS TO BE WELDED

The electrode is suitable for welding the following alloys/materials (wrought): ASTM B333, B335, B619, B622 AND B626, UNS 10001 (alloy B) UNS N10665 - Alloy B2, Proprietary Hastalloy B2 (Haynes) For cast materials :ASTM A594N - 7M, A743, N12-M, A744 N-12M.Proprietary : NBC (Paralloy) AR5 Darwins also similar materials Hastalloy B3,

OTHER DATA

Electrodes that have become damp should be re-dried at 180oC for 1 hour.
